My name is Donnie, and I'm 1/5th of "Life with the Bledsoe's". If you're here, something I said must have stuck with you and I'm glad it did!

When I first started this blog, my husband and I both worked full-time, barely getting any time together, let alone with our three kiddos. We had two in school and one in daycare and our mornings and afternoons were crazy!

Now, we are both home, I'm working on my blog full-time, which is very exciting, and I get to spend time with my kids because we are homeschooling as well. This is something my husband and I have wanted to do for years, and we can finally make it happen!

We are also renovating our house, which is now going on 5 years. We are so close to getting it done, but yet so far away. This has come with many ups and downs, lots of " let's just sell it!" but we are slowly getting there. We are blessed to have a house in this crazy economy, so we might as well enjoy it.

My main goal of this blog is to teach people about budgeting and all the ways that having a budget that works for you can be such a blessing. This has been a passion of mine for a long time. I worked in the banking industry for 17 years: started as a teller and ended my career as a Branch Manager for TWO banks.

I am very excited for this new chapter though and I hope to help you and educate you (and you can educate me!) along the way.
